About Us

The Black Southern Women’s Collaborative (BSWC) is a dynamic network of Black women-led organizations across Louisiana, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, and Mississippi. Our mission is to center Black women’s voices in the fight for restorative justice, equality, reparations, and collective liberation, tackling the systemic challenges that disproportionately impact our communities.

Why BSWC Matters

Building Political Power: We are cultivating a new generation of leaders through training, intentional coaching, and organizing programs designed to strengthen Black women’s political influence.

Driving Systemic Change: Our work addresses critical issues such as housing, reproductive justice, healthcare access, and education, ensuring that policies reflect the needs of our communities.

Uplifting Black Women’s Voices: At BSWC, we believe that real change happens when the voices of Black women are at the forefront of decision-making. Our initiatives ensure that those voices are heard and respected.
